A CEO unlike any other
Altersis is an engineering services company with its head office in Aix-en-Provence. In April 2013, the economics magazine, Capital, put its CEO, Guy Puech, among the “top thirty movers and shakers in local business”, thirty creators of start-ups or business leaders to watch for in the economy at the head of local or international businesses, giving special status to the Aix-Marseille region.
A CEO unlike any other
Guy Puech is from Auvergne, born in Brazzaville, and has travelled widely but stresses his attachment to Aix. A graduate of the Ecole Centrale de Marseille, he decided to put down roots in the city of King René in 2008. On his own, he created an IT engineering services company, Altersis. Capital magazine emphasises that Guy Puech is a judo expert (4th dan black belt), “a martial art whose moral code he applies with his employees and customers on a daily basis“.
In just a few years, this small company has become a large SME. He tells us, “At the end of 2015 we had 180 employees and a turnover of almost twelve million euros. In 2016, we hope to double our payroll and almost double our turnover too. ”
In 2014, Guy Puech was awarded the sales manager of the year prize by Trophée Jean Lefranc and said at the time, “I am proud and honoured that Dirigeants Commerciaux de France (DCF) have awarded this prize to me. Of course, I owe this award to my work but also to the entire team that I work with day to day and which has made Altersis the recognised company that it is today. I thank them all for their loyalty and investment at my side!”
